Coming from Egypt, Badis had the chance to discover lacto-fermentation here in Quebec through "sauerkraut". Reading and creativity therefore led him to a product that did not yet exist in the Canadian market (Hummus Lacto-fermented). After much trial and error, he took his dad's recipe, tweaked it a bit, and finally he's proud to present it to you.

Located at Mile-end in Montreal, "Bloomivore" is committed to offering an excellent product to customers who appreciate taste, health and the environment.

Our ethics

Picnic in Nature

We are proud to participate in the national economy while limiting our ecological footprint.

We use Canadian ingredients where possible and the most recyclable containers.

We respect our values by choosing the best ingredients on the market even if it costs us more. The result is a great flavor.

No preservatives are added to our Super Hummus.

Who created the hummus?

The simplest answer, no one knows. Hummus has existed for a long time in several countries in the world, more precisely, in the Middle East. Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Greece... we don't know who did it first, but one thing is certain, it's super good.
